Social Work Services

The Health Department offers a variety of social work services which include Baby Love Plus, Care Management for Early Childhood, and Care Management for High Risk Pregnancies. The Health Department also serves as a Child Passenger Safety Checking station.

Baby Love Plus

Baby Love Plus is a FREE program to eligible women, fathers, and families offering help with:

  • Finding services and resources to match your needs such as family planning, breastfeeding, medical care, transportation, WIC, employment, and housing
  • Linkage to health care before, between, and following pregnancies
  • Referrals to community resources
  • Health education and training

Baby Love Plus is designed to:

  • Share knowledge on baby’s health and development
  • Create positive health outcomes with pregnancies
  • Promote health through education and counseling
  • Improve parenting skills
  • Promote factors to support happy, healthy families

Your Care Manager can meet you at your provider appointments, talk with you by phone, meet you in your home, or meet you at a location that is convenient for you.
